Classic In-Frame Cock Bead Shaker 99 - Elstree

This property in Elstree was completed with a full renovation where the kitchen soon became the entertaining room of the home. The style combines timeless beauty with unparalleled functionality at every turn. What began with the kitchen soon evolved, as our clients invited us back to design a stunning lounge and dining area, a space tailored for everyday living and effortless entertaining. Featuring our Classic In-Frame Shaker, the design has been inspired by Shaker principles where sharp edges have been met with graceful curves. Complemented by tongue and groove panelling for added texture, the curved edge on the island softens the aesthetic and makes every element contribute to this timeless kitchen.

Basalt by Little Greene

sets the tone, a timeless blue-black that is easier on the eye than pure jet-black paint. With natural light, its charismatic blue undertones are drawn out across the room.

The space has been equipped with

Siemens

appliances in a bank that creates part of the cooking zone. These include two Siemens single multi-function ovens, a Siemens steam oven and a Siemens compact oven with microwave. Designing a bank of appliances is becoming popular in the modern home, creating a flexible and functional cooking zone within the kitchen. Installing appliances at eye level offers ease of use and proves a valuable choice for modern homeowners. Located on the main kitchen run is a

Siemens induction hob

and

Westin Prime

extractor fan, adding to the streamlined cooking processes while infusing a sleek style. The hob area also features an

antiqued mirror splashback

to create an illusion of more space and provide a durable surface for spills and splatters.

Chrome knobs and handles from the

Armac Martin Carlton

collection present themselves with a subtle deco look, while the

Vanilla Ice quartz

worktops infuse the space with character. Carefully placed ceiling spotlights provide task lighting, while the integrated lighting under the cupboards gives the room an inviting glow after dark, threading warmth through a deeply confident palette.

After completing the kitchen, our clients invited us back to reimagine another area of their home, this time transforming the lounge into a relaxing snug. It has been tailored for cosy evenings, weekend entertaining and everyday enjoyment. In the lounge part, we designed a bespoke media wall perfectly blending function with style. The fashionable colour of

Little Greene Cordoba

beautifully complements the surrounding textures and tones of the room. The media wall features an elegant balance of open shelves, displaying our client's treasured objects, and closed cabinetry below for concealed storage. Every detail has been carefully considered, from the proportions to the finish, including the precise space carved out for the TV to sit perfectly within the frame.

Every design touch implemented in this kitchen brings out our client's individuality and a space that will be cherished for years to come in this beautiful family home. Our return gave us the chance to continue our design journey with them, building on the home's thoughtful aesthetic and creating two standout features: a custom TV media wall and a luxurious home bar that work together effortlessly.
